Dilan De Silva is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 14 years of experience in the construction industry in a variety of roles including Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator, Contracts Manager, and Commercial Manager. His experience also includes (quantity surveying) academic teaching at both a public university and private institution. He is a trained APC Assessor and a professional institution's APC candidate councillor.

Dilan has succesfully completed Certificate in Teaching QS from the University of Vocational Technology and ‘Learning to Teach Online' programme offered by the University of New South Wales.

He will be in charge of the academy's day-to-day operations and creating courses on Quantity Surveying.

Padmasiri is a seasoned educator with over 15 years of experience as a lecturer in various academic institutions, including government universities. In addition to his academic background, he has also worked as a TV presenter for Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and Independent Television Network (ITN), as well as an announcer at the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Cooperation. Currently, he serves as the Chief Manager Training at National Savings Bank, where he is responsible for shaping and delivering training programs. Padmasiri is also the chief trainer of his own personality development program, ‘Search Light Turns to You,’ and has conducted several soft skills and personality development programs, including training sessions on Public Speaking, and Communication Skills. The modules related to Human Skills of the Certificate in Soft Skills and Personality Development (Skills Upgrading) course are taught by him.

With over 13 years of experience in Quality Management and more than 5 years of experience as a lecturer in various academic and business institutions, Sanjeewanee is a highly accomplished professional. She holds the position of Head of Quality Assurance and Process Development at a prestigious company, where she also leads the training and development department. Sanjeewanee is a highly sought-after resource person for her family’s training institute’s soft skills and personality development program. Additionally, she is a frequent resource person for a variety of other training programs, making her an invaluable asset to AACT. The modules related to Self-Management Skills of the Certificate in Soft Skills and Personality Development (Skills Upgrading) course are taught by her.

  • Ch.QS. Upul Shantha MBA, BSc (QS) Hon’s, PG. Dip.(Const.Mgt.) FIQSSL,AAIQS

Ch.QS. Upul Shantha is a prominent figure in the construction industry, with extensive experience in both lecturing and practicing Quantity Surveying. As a past president of the Sri Lanka Institute of Quantity Surveyors and current director of Construction Cost Information Service (Pvt) Ltd and Cost Management Services (PVT) Ltd, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills. With his vast exposure to leadership and management roles, Upul Shantha is well-equipped to guide learners on the effective application of soft skills in their professional practice. The module on Application of Soft Skills in Professional Practice of the Certificate in Soft Skills and Personality Development (Skills Upgrading) course is taught by him.

  • Ms. Sakuni Galappaththi BSc Hon’s (Psychology)

Sakuni Galappaththi is currently an academic instructor for the school of Psychology at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). With a BSc Honors degree in Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University, she brings valuable knowledge and expertise to her role. Prior to joining SLIIT, Sakuni worked as a Mental Health Consultant for several years and was extensively involved in career counselling. Her diverse experience in the field of psychology has made her a valuable asset to AACT. The module on Goal Setting and Career Planning of the Certificate in Soft Skills and Personality Development (Skills Upgrading) course is taught by her.
